Liberty League and the Forces of the Dark (Ages)
Caught snippets of a programme on Channel 5 last night. Wasn't sure what the programme was exactly, but there was a panel discussing the gay issue. The segment was apparently sparked off by the recent media stirrings caused by the upcoming launch of Liberty League, for Leslie Lung, the founder, was one of the panel members.
What bothered me tremendously wasn't what he said because I was already moderately conversant where he was coming from. Instead, it was this supposed-expert from KKH, a reproductive specialist that got to me. I couldn't believe it when she said that homosexuality was lifestyle choice, and was a psychological problem. True, she was trying to draw the distinction between homosexuality and ambiguous gender anatomy (i.e. unclear gender identity at birth) but to hear such complete rubbish from a mouth of a supposed-expert was simply mind-boggling!
I mean, come on, even China has removed homosexuality from its list of psychological illnesses quite a few years ago. Which medieval country was this expert from?
Well, Singapore, I guess.
